We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will lead the warehouse team, maintain high operational standards, and ensure productivity, accuracy, and service levels consistently meet company and customer expectations. Previous experience within an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) environment is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring procedures and operational standards are followed.
- Deliver daily KPIs including productivity, dispatch targets, delivery performance, and picking accuracy.
- Lead Warehouse Shift Supervisors to ensure efficient and high-quality warehouse operations.
- Ensure all warehouse operatives are properly trained and arrange retraining where required.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and Health & Safety across the warehouse.
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, and timekeeping, including managing holidays and absence.
- Address performance issues in collaboration with the Head of Operations and HR.
- Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes to increase productivity and reduce errors.
- Manage MHE equipment and ensure appropriate training for all users.
- Oversee the Market Pick function to ensure products are dispatched professionally.
- Monitor PPE usage, maintain stock levels, and order cleaning supplies when needed.
- Manage site by-products in line with environmental policies.
- Work closely with other departments to improve communication, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Support the training and development of team members and promote a positive team culture.
- Additional duties may be required as part of the role.

Requirements

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
