Location: Stanford‐Hope, Essex.

Employment Type: Full‐time, Maternity Cover

Salary: circa ÂŁ37,500pa + discretionary bonus

We are currently looking for a Transport Supervisor to lead the logistics team, liaise with the commercial team, and ensure timely, cost‐effective deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate daily transport activities (Goods in and out)
  • Liaise with commercial, procurement and production teams
  • Ensure the smooth and on‐time delivery of products to the end customer in compliance with ADR/IMDG/IATA standards
  • Prepare and maintain transport records, reports, and KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Maintain fleet performance and third‐party logistics service providers
  • Ensure consistent and timely dissemination of transport/freight rates to commercial colleagues
  • Assist in other scheduled and ad‐hoc activities to ensure the smooth and efficient commercial and logistics operation of the site
  • Other general duties

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet supervision
  • Customer or supplier interface experience
  • Strong leadership and team‐management skills
  • Import/Export process or customs experience desired but not mandatory
  • Excellent organisational and problem‐solving abilities
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Once full training has been completed, there might be a possibility to work from home 1–2 days a week.
