Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £26,170 – £28,080 per year overtime
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm occasional OT/on-call
Pay & Progression:
- Starting: £12.58/hr (£26,170/year)
- After Training (6–12 months): £13.50/hr (£28,080/year)
- Overtime:
- 1.3x = £16.35–£16.88/hr
- 1.5x = £18.13–£19.65/hr
- Further training (e.g., Leak Detection, Senior Tech) offers more earning potential
The Role:
Join our disaster recovery and cleaning team. You'll help restore properties after fire, flood, or mold damage by:
- Stripping out walls/floors, extracting water, cleaning, and drying
- Installing equipment and documenting work on iPad
- Handling customer interactions (insurers, policyholders, adjusters)
- Packing/removing contents and following strict health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license (clean)
- Able to commute to RM18
- Comfortable in confined/damaged environments
- Physically fit (heavy lifting involved)
- Good with people, procedures, and basic tech
- Will need to pass a DBS check
- DIY/building knowledge is a bonus
