The Role

Our client is seeking a driven and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join their busy construction desk, focusing on blue collar roles including labourers, groundworkers, tradespeople, and site staff. This is a fast-paced, sales-driven position combining business development, candidate sourcing, and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and placing blue collar construction workers into temporary and permanent roles
  • Developing new business through outbound calls, client visits, and networking
  • Managing and growing existing client relationships
  • Writing job adverts, screening, and interviewing candidates
  • Filling vacancies efficiently to meet client requirements
  • Building strong relationships with both clients and candidates
  • Managing bookings, compliance, and worker availability

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within the construction sector (essential)
  • Previous recruitment or sales experience (highly advantageous)

  • Motivated, resilient, and ambitious
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
