We are working in partnership with a growing facilities maintenance and project delivery specialist seeking an experienced Electrical & Air Conditioning Engineer to join their commercial maintenance team across London and the South East, excluding Essex.
This role is ideally suited to an electrically biased engineer with strong HVAC / air conditioning experience, looking for a stable, permanent position with excellent overtime potential and long-term development.
You will be responsible for delivering reactive and planned electrical and air conditioning maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings, including fault finding, servicing, repairs, and small works.
The position offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to work for a business that invests in its engineers through training and progression opportunities.
- Annual salary review
- Regular overtime available – OTE £50,000–£60,000

- 28 days holiday (20 days + bank holidays, with additional days for long service)
Key Responsibilities:
- Reactive and planned electrical maintenance across commercial sites
- Fault finding and repair on lighting, power, circuits, and control systems
- Maintenance and fault diagnosis of air conditioning and HVAC systems
- Testing and minor installation works where required
- Identifying and quoting additional works
- Participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota
- Supporting small installation and refurbishment projects
Qualifications:
- Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance
- Air conditioning / HVAC experience essential
- F-Gas qualification advantageous (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with split systems and commercial AC units desirable
- IPAF / MEWP preferred (training available if not held)
- CSCS card beneficial but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible approach to overtime and occasional weekends
