About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join Facilities Maintenance company. You will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance across a range of clients in Hospitality and Retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Covering reactive call outs on mechanical and electrical basis for main clients within hospitality and retail industry
- Attend and respond to reactive repairs within SLA's and KPI's
- Ensure all works are completed in compliance with relevant health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Logging job details on handheld devices
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or urgent maintenance requests
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and on-site teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Working hours basic Monday to Friday 40hrs per week. Availability for out of hours works based on the agreed duty engineer rota with a minimum requirement to be on call once per calendar month.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar M&E facilities maintenance role
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical building systems
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Full UK Driving licence
