About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join a growing organisation focused on delivering innovative solutions to the Healthcare, Care, and Education sectors. This is a pure new business role where you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new clients across the UK. You will attend industry events, support with bids and tenders, and present compelling solutions that add real value to healthcare and education providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the healthcare, care, and education sectors.
- Develop creative sales campaigns and follow them through from concept to completion.
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Deliver system demonstrations and presentations to key stakeholders.
- Support the bid and tender process to help secure large contracts.
- Manage your sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and meetings to build and maintain strong industry relationships.
- Achieve and exceed agreed KPIs and revenue targets.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, ideally selling into healthcare, care, or education sectors.
- Demonstrable success in generating and closing new business.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing tender processes and producing winning proposals.
- Commercially aware, self-motivated, and target-focused.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
