The Role
You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Machining precision components to tight tolerances
- Using a range of measuring and inspection equipment
- Selecting and managing cutting tools
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and health safety
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter and Operator
- Experience with Heidenhain controls would be advantageous
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of precision machining and tolerances
