Our client, a rapidly growing e-commerce delivery business, is looking for an experienced Head of Account Management to lead their strategic client portfolio. This is a senior commercial role for someone with a proven track record of managing large accounts, driving growth, and leading high‑performing teams.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Head of Account Management will be responsible for managing key enterprise accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring service excellence. The successful candidate will lead a team of Account Managers, act as the main commercial interface with top clients, and collaborate with internal teams across operations, product, technology, and finance to deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve targets and deliver exceptional client service.
- Own strategic relationships with key clients, managing senior stakeholder engagement.
- Drive revenue through upselling, cross‑selling, and contract renewals.
- Monitor service delivery, resolve escalations, and ensure operational KPIs are consistently met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions and seamless service.
- Provide regular reporting on account performance, pipeline, and commercial outcomes.
Experience & Skills Required
- 8–12+ years’ experience in account management, customer success, or commercial leadership.
- Proven experience managing complex, enterprise‑level accounts, ideally in e‑commerce, logistics, or supply chain.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, contracts, and margin management.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience coaching and developing high‑performing teams.
- Confident communicator, strategic thinker, and skilled negotiator.
