Adore Recruitment is working on behalf of a growing client based in Harold Wood, who are seeking a proactive and highly organised Fleet Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position in brand new offices, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a business with exciting growth plans.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and compliance of a fleet currently consisting of 48 vans — a number expected to grow as the company expands. You’ll also support internal teams and engineers with general admin duties and training compliance, making this a varied and key support role within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee administration and compliance for a fleet of 48 vehicles (subject to increase with company growth)
  • Check engineers’ timesheets against vehicle tracking systems
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date spreadsheets and fleet records
  • Manage the RingGo parking app for fleet usage
  • Coordinate repairs for tyres, windscreens, and general maintenance
  • Ensure all vehicle documentation is current and roadworthy
  • Liaise with engineers regarding vehicle requirements and support needs
  • Take responsibility for the out-of-hours phone on a shared rota to manage emergency vehicle issues
  • Maintain asbestos training records and book necessary training courses for staff

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in fleet, logistics, or office administration is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident using tracking/booking systems
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
  • Willingness to be part of an out-of-hours phone rota
  • Familiarity with training compliance or health & safety administration (desirable)
