We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs of a wide range of fire and security systems for commercial, industrial, and residential clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that values quality, reliability, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, fire detection and security systems to the highest standard
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repair of systems efficiently and effectively
- Complete system testing, commissioning, and client handovers
- Ensure all work complies with BS5839, BS7671, NSI, BAFE and other relevant standards
- Completion of job sheets and service reports
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency callouts (as required)
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar fire and/or security systems engineering role
- Understanding of relevant British Standards (BS5839, BS5266)
- Good understanding of current standards and legislation
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Relevant industry qualifications (FIA units, ECS/CSCS, or equivalent) desirable
