About the Role
Adore Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading high-end design and production company in their search for a skilled Technical Designer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for design, innovation, and technical detail. You will be working on a variety of top-tier projects, from concept to completion, collaborating with a creative team and bringing complex designs to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for bespoke design projects.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and project requirements.
- Use CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to produce accurate designs and revisions.
- Support the development and implementation of production plans, ensuring smooth transitions from design to manufacturing.
- Manage technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot design challenges and provide technical solutions in collaboration with project managers and other teams.
- Participate in meetings with clients to understand project scope and technical requirements.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Designer or in a similar design‑related role.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Background in carpentry, joinery, engineering or similar fields, with an understanding of project construction processes.
- Experience working on high‑end, luxury, bespoke design projects.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to problem‑solve and manage design challenges effectively.
- A creative and technical mindset, with a passion for design innovation.
