We are recruiting for our client who are looking for a confident, organised and proactive Route Planner to join a lovely team based near Chelmsford. You will be planning for a fleet of vehicles operating across multiple sites across the country. This will be a busy varied role. If you love route planning, transport coordination and keeping operations running smoothly, this could be the perfect fit.
The Role
As part of the planning team, you will work closely with the Service Manager, Drivers, Sales Team, Customer Service Team and Depot Managers to ensure daily operations are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. Your day will include:
- Planning and coordinating daily transport routes
- Allocating services, deliveries and collections effectively
- Supporting drivers with daily schedules and job allocations
