About the Role: As Mechanical Gas Manager, you’ll lead all mechanical operations with a focus on boiler installations, gas compliance, surveys, and plumbing across our hospitality client portfolio. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our M&E services, managing projects from the office, with occasional site visits to oversee complex or high‑priority jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all mechanical & gas-related operations
- Oversee boiler installations, servicing schedules, and compliance works
- Pre‑planned and reactive works
- Conduct technical site surveys and provide accurate assessments
- Liaise with hospitality clients to deliver tailored solutions
- Manage a team of engineers and subcontractors
- Ensure Gas Safe and regulatory compliance across all works
- Develop M&E service offerings in line with business growth
Requirements:
- Gas Safe registered with hands‑on experience in boiler installs would be an advantage
- Strong background in plumbing and mechanical systems
- Previous experience managing M&E projects or teams
- Confident in producing and interpreting technical surveys
- Excellent communication skills – both with engineers and clients
- Experience in hospitality or commercial facilities is highly desirable
- Self‑motivated with the ability to lead and grow the M&E department
