Logistics / Customer Advisor – Chelmsford / Wickford location. Car driver required due to location; free on site parking. Salary 27185 – 28115 plus quarterly bonus. Monday to Friday, office-based full time.
This company owns eight depots across the country; the vacancy is within their modern, newly renovated offices between Wickford and Chelmsford. They are looking for someone with excellent telephone skills to be part of a team delivering the hire experience and to grow and nurture relationships with existing clients. You will update and assist customers after the initial sales process in a buzzy logistics department. Your role will be to improve and develop customer service capabilities for the service and operations team. You will work within a team with the support of a team supervisor and a Customer Service Manager.
Role & Responsibilities- Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email, and web queries
- Provide ETAs
- Work closely with the transport planners
- Resolve customer issues
- Answer all incoming service calls (from customers, not drivers)
- Respond to all customer emails
- Manage and resolve all queries on the service log
- Experience in logistics, helpdesk, or office-based telephone-based customer service
- Car driver is essential due to rural location
- Free on-site parking
