An established aerospace engineering company is looking to recruit a CNC Miller / Setter / Operator due to continued growth and increasing customer demand. The role involves machining complex aerospace components on modern CNC milling machines in a low-to-medium batch, high-precision environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC milling machines
  • Install and set tooling and fixtures
  • Produce components to engineering drawings and aerospace tolerances
  • Carry out first-off and in-process inspection checks
  • Monitor machine performance and maintain component quality
  • Complete production and quality documentation

Requirements

  • Experience as a CNC Miller / Setter / Operator
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar controls
  • Good understanding of tooling, offsets and machining practices
  • Aerospace experience is advantageous but not essential
