Role and Opportunity
The sales team benefit from having an excellent marketing team that generates lots of leads and we are looking for a motivated and driven Sponsorship Sales person to maximise these opportunities, follow up on leads and build relationships with new clients.
Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience selling sponsorship solutions. You will be self-motivated, well-organised and have a good understanding of prospecting and developing relationships with key clients. You will be responsible for developing warm leads and identifying and securing new business for the company. This is a consultative B2B sales role with huge long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of their products, industry and the competitors
- Maintain and grow relationships with sponsors
- Maintain regular contact with clients and formulate innovative, creative and profitable solutions for their business
- Find, contact and set up meetings with potential sponsors
- Maintain close liaison with the marketing, production and operations teams in order to ensure the delivery of successful customer focused events
- Identify potential customers from competitive media, events and from other business sources
Experience required / Qualifications
- 2-3 years plus sales experience in a B2B events business or similar
- Have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Have a passion to win and thrive to close deals
- Strong people skills, and relationship building experience
- A successful history of hitting sales targets
- Demonstrable new business development success
