CAD Technician - Construction / Roofing

Job Title: CAD Technician Role Overview: This position involves providing customer and sales support across all systems and products, with a primary focus on CAD-related tasks. The role requires technical expertise to create bespoke drawings and details, assist with as-built drawing packages, and compile O&M manuals. Additional responsibilities include contributing to specification writing, supporting the marketing team with technical content, staying updated on regulatory changes, managing third-party product inquiries, and offering on-site technical support. Key Responsibilities: Provide customer and sales support for all systems and products. Utilize CAD to create custom drawings and details for as-built packages and O&M manuals. Assist in writing and approving bespoke roofing specifications in collaboration with the technical department. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and review technical content for various publications, articles, and marketing materials. Stay informed about changes in regulations and codes of practice, and report these updates to management. Manage third-party product and system inquiries through selected business partners.
