A well-established facilities maintenance specialist is expanding and we’re recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Multi-Skilled Fabric Engineer to cover commercial sites across the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, hands-on professional looking for long-term stability, progression and varied work with a respected organisation supporting blue-chip, high-street clients.
The Role
- Responsible for a mix of reactive, planned and minor project works, ensuring high standards of workmanship and service delivery.
- Attending reactive maintenance within agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Completing planned and minor works within your skill set.
- Using handheld devices to log jobs and updates.
- Supporting capital refurbishment and upgrade projects.
- Taking part in an on-call rota (minimum once per month).
- Working safely and proactively promoting Health & Safety standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or maintenance roles.
- Strong multi-trade background including plumbing, carpentry, tiling, decorating/making good, and basic groundworks and brickwork.
- Experience in reactive and small works maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working at height.
- Confident using smartphones/tablets for job logging.
- CSCS card desirable but not essential.
