Night Transport Manager - Drive Impact in a Fast-Paced Logistics Environment Brentwood (with some travel to client sites) - Must drive due to location Sunday to Thursday - Or Monday to Friday 5pm - 2am - or 6pm - 3am Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE) We’re on the hunt for a confident, capable Night Transport Manager who can take full ownership of overnight operations. The Opportunity: This isn’t just another night manager job. You’ll be the go-to person when it matters most - ensuring vehicles are where they need to be, problems are solved quickly, and the team is fully supported. You’ll manage a busy shift, oversee a fleet of vehicle movements, and liaise directly with drivers, teams, and clients to keep everything on track. What You’ll Be Doing: Managing a team of drivers and overnight staff - including scheduling, task allocation, and support Handling breakdowns, changes, and urgent issues with calm, clear direction Ensuring all safety and compliance procedures are followed to the letter Communicating with clients to keep them updated and reassured Completing detailed reports, logs, and handovers for seamless transitions Playing a key role in recruitment, training, and performance reviews for your team What You Bring: A solid background in transport/logistics - ideally in a night-based role Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong knowledge of driver regulations (CPC a bonus) Cool-headed problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask effectively A can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering results under pressure Why Apply?
