Excellent basic plus yearly bonus and salary review every August.

Ongar Essex Office – Monday / Wednesday / Friday WFH – Tuesday / Thursday.

This is a great position which offers you the opportunity of meeting with clients face to face as well as providing excellent customer service over the telephone and via the specified App and ordering system. Your clients are within the restaurant and catering industry and your core objective is to retain and grow these accounts by managing all day‑to‑day queries or issues by providing relevant, timely and accurate information. The role will be based within a friendly team in the offices in Ongar Essex, but you will also visit clients face to face around the London area no more than once per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement effective account plans to retain and grow existing business.
  • Manage and monitor price, quality and service with each assigned customer, including price checking of new contract SKUs, invoice checks, and ensuring suppliers uphold agreed tendered prices.
  • Manage suppliers against service level agreements and assist with mobilisation of any new accounts.
  • Take ownership of and resolve supply and quality issues with the relevant supplier.
  • Offer support to customers regarding the online ordering systems (Marketman, Procure Wizard, Fourth etc.). Training will be provided.
  • Manage all accounts through the CRM system.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous account management or business development experience required.
  • Hospitality, restaurant or catering knowledge preferable but not essential.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Driving licence essential.
