Support Our Client Services – Grow Your Career in Account Management. We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Account Manager Assistant to support our Account Management team in delivering outstanding service to key clients. This hybrid role is based in Ongar and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced commercial environment. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and building strong working relationships, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Managers in the day-to-day running of client supply chains
  • Assist with maintaining and updating Account Plans
  • Help with price checks on new contract SKUs and support invoice auditing
  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed service levels
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and contract mobilisation
  • Support customer meetings by preparing materials and capturing action points
  • Respond to daily queries professionally and efficiently
  • Liaise with suppliers to help resolve supply or quality issues
  • Maintain accurate customer records and price file information
  • Provide system support for platforms such as Marketman, Procure Wizard, and Fourth

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Good numeracy skills and comfortable working with Excel and data
  • An interest in food, hospitality, or supply chain industries
