We are currently looking for a Transport Supervisor to lead the logistics team, liaise with the commercial team and ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily transport activities (Goods in and out)
- Liaise with commercial, procurement and production teams
- Ensure the smooth and on-time delivery of products to the end customer in compliance with ADR/IMDG/IATA standards
- Prepare and maintain transport records, reports, and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with all regulations
- Maintain fleet performance and third-party logistics service providers
- Ensure dissemination of transport/freight rates among commercial colleagues is consistent and timely
- Assist in other scheduled and ad-hoc activities to ensure the smooth and efficient commercial and logistics operation of the site
- Other general duties
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet supervision
- Customer or supplier interface experience
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Import/Export process or customs experience desired, but not mandatory
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. Once full training has been completed, there might be a possibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.
