We're recruiting on behalf of a fantastic company in Stanford-le-Hope that is looking for an experienced Stock Controller to become a key part of their warehouse and logistics operation. What You'll Be Doing * Managing and maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels * Conducting stock counts, cycle counts and audits * Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies efficiently * Ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded within warehouse systems * Working closely with warehouse, logistics and operational teams * Monitoring inbound and outbound stock to ensure complete accuracy * Identifying opportunities to improve stock control processes and efficiencies * Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards What We're Looking For * Previous experience within Stock Control, Inventory Management or a similar role * Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) * Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills * Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities * Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and provide solutions * Positive, hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure * Flexibility to work rotating early and late shifts * Must drive due to the location What's On Offer? * Competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 * Monday to Friday working pattern * Excellent work-life balance with no weekend shifts * Join a stable, well-established and successful business * Friendly, supportive team environment * Genuine opportunities for training, development and career progression * A role where you'll play a vital part in the success of the operation Ready for Your Next Move?
