What You’ll Do:
- Install, service, and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems (IP & analogue).
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on existing systems.
- Complete accurate reports and participate in an on-call rota.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
- Stay up to date with technology and legislation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in either fire or security engineering experience or both would be fantastic.
- Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV.
- Understanding of British Standards (BS5839, BS5266).
- Full UK driving licence & DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Desirable: Qualifications such as FIA, City & Guilds, ECS/CSCS, and experience with Kentec, Eaton, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, NSI, or BAFE standards.
