Late Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00pm–12:15am
We’re partnered with an established aerospace precision engineering business based in Romford, supplying high-quality components into the aerospace sector.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician to join their quality team on the late shift.
The Role
You’ll carry out non-destructive testing on aerospace components, ensuring parts meet customer specifications, engineering requirements and the required aerospace quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing FPI / Liquid Penetrant Inspection on aerospace components
- Working to customer specifications, engineering drawings and relevant standards
- Carrying out equipment checks and calibrations
- Interpreting engineering drawings and process specifications
- Maintaining accurate inspection records and component traceability
- Identifying and reporting nonconformances
- Maintaining the NDT facility to NADCAP and customer requirements
- Managing testing materials and consumables, including safe chemical handling
- Supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working to a strong rightfirst-time quality philosophy
What We’re Looking For
- Proven NDT experience within aerospace manufacturing
- EN4179 Level 2 or equivalent PCN Level 2 qualification in Liquid Penetrant Inspection
- Current certification with relevant approval scope
- Experience within a NADCAPapproved NDT environment
- Strong knowledge of FPI / Liquid Penetrant Inspection
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Understanding of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements

The Opportunity
This is a specialist opportunity for an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician who wants to work within a technically demanding aerospace manufacturing environment.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring complex aerospace components meet the required quality, inspection and customer standards, working within a NADCAP-approved environment where accuracy and attention to detail really matter.
