We’re looking for an experienced mobile Solar PV Engineer to join a growing professional renewable energy business, installing and maintaining Solar PV systems and battery storage across domestic properties. This is a great opportunity for an electrician with solid Solar PV experience who wants more autonomy, flexibility and responsibility, while working with the latest renewable energy technology.
The Role
- Installing and maintaining domestic Solar PV and battery systems
- Carrying out electrical installation, inspection and testing
- Working mainly across the Home Counties, with some travel further afield
- Occasional overnight stays may be required
- Working directly in customers’ homes and providing a professional, high-quality service
- Working independently and being trusted to complete jobs to a high standard
- Keeping installations compliant and completed safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- C&G Level 2/3 Electrical qualification or equivalent – essential
- 18th Edition – essential
- Inspection & Testing experience – essential
- Previous Solar PV / renewable energy experience – essential
- Domestic Installer qualification or equivalent – desirable
- Full UK driving licence – essential
- Professional, reliable and confident working in customers’ homes
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Happy to travel and occasionally stay away
