Metal Roofer / Product Support Manager

Are you an experienced Metal Roofer looking to take the next step in your career, moving into a more technical and customer-focused role? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading roofing and waterproofing solutions provider for a Product Support Manager with a strong background in metal roofing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on roofing experience who wants to utilise their technical knowledge in a role supporting customers, contractors and internal teams.

The successful candidate will bring practical experience of metal roofing installations, a good understanding of roofing systems and the confidence to provide technical guidance and support across a variety of projects.

The Role

As Product Support Manager, you will act as a technical specialist for metal roofing products and systems, helping to ensure customers and contractors receive the right advice and support throughout their projects.

• Providing technical support and guidance on metal roofing systems and installation methods.
• Supporting contractors, installers and customers with product-related queries and technical challenges.
• Advising on the correct application, installation and performance of roofing products.
• Conducting site visits to assess installations, investigate technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Working closely with sales teams to support customer requirements and identify suitable roofing solutions.
• Delivering product knowledge and technical training to customers, contractors and colleagues where required.
• Assisting with troubleshooting, resolving installation issues and ensuring best practice is followed.
• Building strong working relationships with roofing contractors, installers, distributors and other industry professionals.
• Keeping up to date with industry standards, product developments and roofing best practices.

About You

We are looking for someone with a genuine understanding of metal roofing, gained through practical, hands-on experience. You may currently be working as a Metal Roofer, Roofing Specialist, Roofing Supervisor, Technical Roofing Specialist or in a similar position and be ready to move into a technical support role.

Essential experience and skills:

• Proven hands-on experience in metal roofing.
• A strong understanding of metal roofing systems, materials and installation techniques.
• The ability to identify and resolve technical roofing issues.
• Confidence communicating with customers, contractors and other industry professionals.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to work independently, manage your workload and travel to customer sites when required.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience providing technical advice, supporting roofing contractors or working with roofing manufacturers would be advantageous, although candidates with strong practical roofing knowledge looking to develop into a technical position are encouraged to apply.
