  • Lift Service & Callout Engineer
  • Central Westminster, London

Our client is seeking a fully qualified Lift Service & Callout Engineer to join their established team covering Central Westminster and surrounding Central London locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lift engineer looking for a varied role involving servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repairs and breakdown response.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of lift equipment in accordance with current British and European standards.

Key responsibilities include

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on lift equipment.
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns and undertaking remedial repairs.
  • Fault finding and diagnosing lift-related issues.
  • Completing digital job sheets and service reports.
  • Carrying out asset verification and site surveys where required.
  • Installing replacement or additional equipment.
  • Providing a professional service while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • Participating in the on-call rota (optional).

Essential Requirements

  • Fully qualified Lift Engineer (NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding.
  • Strong knowledge of current British Standards and lift industry regulations
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Social housing experience.

  • Asbestos Awareness certification
