- Lift Service & Callout Engineer
- Central Westminster, London
Our client is seeking a fully qualified Lift Service & Callout Engineer to join their established team covering Central Westminster and surrounding Central London locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lift engineer looking for a varied role involving servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repairs and breakdown response.
The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of lift equipment in accordance with current British and European standards.
Key responsibilities include
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on lift equipment.
- Responding to emergency breakdowns and undertaking remedial repairs.
- Fault finding and diagnosing lift-related issues.
- Completing digital job sheets and service reports.
- Carrying out asset verification and site surveys where required.
- Installing replacement or additional equipment.
- Providing a professional service while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Participating in the on-call rota (optional).
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified Lift Engineer (NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent).
- Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding.
- Strong knowledge of current British Standards and lift industry regulations
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Social housing experience.
- Asbestos Awareness certification
