We’re partnering with a forward-thinking organisation to recruit a proactive HR Advisor / HR Business Partner to join a busy and fast-paced HR function. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a varied generalist role, supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.

  • Based in Benfleet – Monday - Friday
  • £34,000 – £38,000 DOE
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) desirable
  • 3 days office - 2 days home
  • May require some travel to other locations – plenty of notice given

You’ll act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on a wide range of people matters, while working closely with senior HR stakeholders to deliver impactful HR solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers and employees on a broad range of people issues
  • Support employee relations cases including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance matters
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and best practice
  • Partner with stakeholders to support people initiatives and business decision-making
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and employee development activities
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and HR projects
  • Support recruitment activity, including screening and coordination
  • Assist with reward processes, reporting, and HR administration
About You
  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident managing employee relations cases end-to-end
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) desirable
