We are recruiting for a Customer Service & Sales Support Advisor to join an established business in Avonmouth.

This is a varied role covering customer service, sales administration, order processing and general office support.

The Role

  • Providing excellent customer service to customers, contractors and suppliers
  • Processing customer orders, quotes and invoices
  • Handling customer, order and stock queries
  • Setting up new customer accounts and completing credit checks
  • Supporting delivery and haulage queries
  • Managing stock returns and credits
  • Assisting with accounts receivable, payments and debt chasing
  • General administration, data entry and document management

About You

  • Minimum 12 months' customer service experience essential
  • Experience in customer service, sales support or sales administration
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Experience in any of the following would be advantageous, but is not essential:
  • Stock control / stock administration
  • Accounts receivable / credit control
  • Construction, manufacturing or building products
