Depot & Driver Team Manager Chelmsford outskirts, Essex £39,500 per annum + TWO bonuses each year! Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 4:30pm
I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Depot & Driver Team Manager to join a growing business who have a number of depots across the company. Due to promoting their current Manager at their Chelmsford depot they are now looking for someone to join this team. This is a hands-on management role where your main focus will be supporting, motivating and managing a team of Service Drivers on a day-to-day basis. You'll ensure the drivers have everything they need to deliver an excellent service, monitor performance, maintain high customer service standards and keep the depot running efficiently. You'll also be happy to step in and cover driving duties when required.
You'll be based in a new modern office within the depot yard, with free on-site parking, working closely with the Operations, Transport Planning and Fleet teams.
What I'm looking for:
- Previous experience managing drivers or a transport/service team
- A hands-on, organised manager who enjoys getting the best out of their team
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own transport due to the depot location
