Tilbury
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Tilbury. You'll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operation and supporting the Warehouse Manager to ensure everything runs safely, efficiently and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and allocate workloads to the warehouse team.
- Ensure all warehouse activities follow SOPs and Health & Safety procedures.
- Monitor and achieve daily/weekly warehouse KPIs.
- Ensure documentation and records are completed accurately.
- Support recruitment and induction of additional warehouse staff.
- Monitor MHE maintenance and report faults.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site security.
- Ensure staff training and development is kept up to date.
- Deal with performance and operational issues effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous warehouse supervisory/team leader experience.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and SOPs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding, customs or supply chain would be advantageous.
