Ocean Freight Coordinator
Location: Basildon
Salary: £30,000–£33,500 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm

Key responsibilities:
Coordinate sea freight export and cross-trade shipments from start to finish.
Prepare and complete customs export declarations accurately.
Manage shipping documentation, invoicing and operational records.
Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure shipments are completed on time.
Prepare quotations, monitor costs and support business development opportunities.
Maintain excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with procedures and deadlines.
What we’re looking for:
Recent experience in sea freight exports.
A good understanding of freight forwarding processes and customs documentation.
Strong administration, organisational and communication skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting systems.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
