£45,000 + Bonus
Monday to Friday | 7am - 4pm

We're working with a well-established business that is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to take ownership of their Basildon site. This position would suit someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is equally comfortable supporting staff, building customer relationships, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
The Role
- Manage the daily activities of the branch, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
- Lead, motivate and support a small team.
- Build strong relationships with customers and maintain high service levels.
- Oversee stock control and general branch administration.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive branch performance.
- Recruit, train and develop employees when required.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed throughout the branch.
- Work closely with senior management to help achieve business objectives.
- Responsibility for branch P&L, budgeting and forecasting.
- Commercially focused with the ability to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Support marketing and business development initiatives to increase sales and market presence.
- Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, growth and operational efficiency.
About You
- Previous experience managing a branch, depot, warehouse, trade counter or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to work.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Good commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.
