Administrator

Intercountry Adoption Administrator – Full or Part-Time Considered (Office-based, Coleshill, Birmingham)

Help shape a brand new, innovative service for families adopting from India.

This is a rare opportunity to join us at a pivotal moment as we build and launch a new intercountry adoption service. We’re looking for an Administrator who brings strong organisational skills, curiosity, and a genuine interest in adoption, children’s welfare and family support. You’ll play an essential role in shaping how this service grows, develops and delivers outstanding support to families.

As the first point of contact for individuals and families considering adoption, you will offer a warm, professional and reassuring welcome, helping prospective adopters take their first steps with confidence. You’ll manage initial enquiries, support key elements of the Stage 1 process, coordinate statutory checks, and ensure accurate, compliant record‑keeping across the service.

You’ll be someone who leads with compassion, cultural humility and a commitment to relationship‑based, trauma‑informed practice. Safeguarding, confidentiality and secure information handling will be central to your work, and you’ll uphold the agency’s values of integrity, honesty and anti‑discriminatory practice in everything you do.

We’re seeking an Administrator who is proactive, organised and able to manage a busy, varied workload. You’ll bring strong IT skills, excellent communication, and the ability to remain calm, reliable and professional when supporting families. You’ll value continuous learning, welcome feedback and take pride in delivering work to a high standard.

If you’re motivated by meaningful work, eager to deepen your understanding of intercountry adoption, and inspired by the chance to help shape something new, we’d love to hear from you.

Bring your values. Bring your experience. Help us build a service that supports families with dignity, respect and hope.
