THE COMPANY: The world leader in the provision of software systems to the Music and Entertainment industry requires an experienced I.T. Project Manager, with additional experience in either Royalties or the Entertainment Industry, to mentor a team of Business Analysts.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in I.T. Project Management, at least some of which must have been either in Royalties or the Entertainment sector
- Experience managing projects of a value greater than £1m
- Experience in leading a project team of 5 to 10 people (as opposed to solely being part of a project team)
Please note the above experience is essential: you require all of the above to be eligible for this role.
THE ROLE: Your initial task is to gain buy-in from a team of Business Analysts in order to then mentor them on such areas as how to run projects, how to deal with clients and how to address deadlines. Should you be successful in grooming them and growing their abilities, you would ultimately move up to run the entire Business Analyst team, reporting to the current VP of Application Development.
THE OPPORTUNITY: This is a brand new position due to growth, so in terms of career prospects, this could lead literally anywhere. The next step is to run the entire Business Analyst team. Longer term prospects include running other areas of the business and moving up to middle or senior management positions such as Vice President. Salary as per experience plus discretionary bonus and benefits.
