Field Engineer position within the Customer Engineering organization is a client-facing role focused on helping clients to realize and quantify value driven by our Adobe solutions. This position will require foundational technical knowledge across Adobe products and in-depth strategic and analytical skills. Field Engineers will work to capture and understand their client’s unique business objectives and provide advice on how best to meet their needs using one or more Adobe solution. In addition, they will collaborate cross-team to deliver recommendations, including both technical and strategic services to help drive business impact and support business needs.

What you'll Do

  • Be a recognized authority (by clients, partners and colleagues) in at least one Adobe Experience Cloud software-based solutions & technologies.
  • Understand our clients business requirements and translate them into architecture, design and development activities for complex customer setups.
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of a client’s technical environment, business objectives, goals, and challenges in order to deliver the best advice needed to drive customer success and value with our solutions.
  • Effectively analyse sophisticated project issues, identify the possible solution options, and facilitate the presentation and review of the options and our recommended solution with clients and partners.
  • Efficiently multitask, working across multiple client engagements at the same time as well as key internal initiatives.
  • Actively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by knowing the latest Adobe technologies through internally and externally available learning opportunities and self-study.
  • Ability to travel regularly (up to 30%).
  • Interact frequently with clients via phone, email, and/or in-person—including interaction with marketers, analysts, web developers, and C-level executives.
  • Keep accurate daily records of client billable time.

What you need to succeed

  • Experience with Adobe solutions (ideally Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Target & Audience Manager) and REST APIs.
  • Understanding of ad technology (DMPs, DSPs, Ad servers, Ad Exchanges, Cross-Device Tracking platforms, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Real Time-CDP and journey analytics solutions.
  • Understanding of big data platforms and architectures, data stream processing pipeline/platform, data lake and data lake houses.
  • SQL experience; storytelling around querying data and what insights can be derived.
  • Understanding of cloud solutions such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure & Amazon AWS cloud architecture & services.
  • Understanding of GDPR, privacy & security topics.
  • Ability to adapt to and collaborate with a variety of partners in complicated situations, employing strong facilitation skills while establishing credibility and trust quickly.
  • Be self-motivated, adaptable, professional and a champion of customer success!
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in one additional European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish).
