Within the Global Planning organization, the Global Portfolio & Investment Planning Lead functions as the strategic architect and operational driver of Adobe’s marketing portfolio planning. This position will take a leading role in transforming how planning grows across functions and markets, steering the organization toward a unified, portfolio management model.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Portfolio Strategy & Tradeoff Direction: Build and evolve the enterprise portfolio strategy framework that connects Adobe’s business priorities to marketing plans and investments. Establish structured decision and trade-off frameworks across audiences, markets, and initiatives to guide prioritization. Lead multi-market portfolio reviews to evaluate allocation efficiency, strategic alignment, and business impact.
  • Global Planning Platform Transformation & Future-State Vision: Act as a principal designer of the future-state global marketing planning model at Adobe. Collaborate with Product & Planning, Platform, and Systems teams to define and implement the portfolio management model within Adobe’s planning systems. Ensure portfolio data and planning workflows support cross-market comparability, global visibility, and executive decision-making.
  • Enterprise Investment Governance: Operate and continuously improve global marketing investment governance and portfolio oversight. Partner closely with GMO and Finance to ensure marketing portfolio governance aligns with FP&A and budgeting cycles.
  • Executive Partnership & Cross-Functional Influence: Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of Global Planning, helping build the direction of Adobe’s global marketing planning and portfolio strategy. Drive alignment across planning leads, marketing leadership, and finance leadership team members.

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, portfolio management, strategy and operations, finance partnership, or business strategy roles.
  • Strong financial expertise with the ability to convert business strategy into capital allocation frameworks.
  • Executive communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear recommendations.
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
