As a manager of Forward Deployed AI Engineers, you’ll build and inspire a high‑velocity team of AI native engineers to deliver enterprise‑grade, generative AI customer solutions that drive measurable creative and marketing business impact. You will report into the Global Director of Forward Deployed Engineering, with a dotted line to the regional manager of International Consulting. You’ll play a critical role in developing repeatable and scalable methods for rapid prototyping and implementation, removing barriers to success, and resolving customer challenges quickly. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, an understanding of GenAI solutions, and customer‑centricity to drive rapid adoption and value realization for our most strategic customers. You’ll serve as the ultimate Product and Engineering advocate, feeding back customer‑proven use cases and solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead & Sponsor: Recruit, develop, and empower a high‑performing forward deployed engineering team; act as executive sponsor on strategic accounts to ensure flawless delivery, customer enablement, and deliver clear business value.
- Set Technical Vision & Standards: Define modular patterns, reusable frameworks, and architecture playbooks that drive consistency, scalability, and speed across all engagements.
- Enable Rapid Innovation: Define and refine scalable prototyping methods and CI/CD patterns that accelerate time‑to‑value for GenAI content supply chain and creative automation use cases.
- Champion the Voice of the Customer: Streamline feedback intake‑turning frontline customer insights into actionable product, marketing, and research priorities.
- Stay ahead of AI Trends: Stay current on advancements in generative AI, creative tooling, and performance marketing to continuously evolve team capabilities and offerings.
- Oversee Solution Delivery: Guide forward deployed engineers in designing, prototyping, and deploying enterprise‑grade GenAI applications‑balancing innovation with reusable assets and scalable patterns.
- Align with Core Teams: Partner with Adobe Product, Engineering, and Research to influence roadmaps, co‑develop integrations, productize high‑value customer solutions, and deploy new features.
- Cultivate Culture: Foster a high‑performance, customer‑obsessed culture‑mentoring your team with positivity, accountability, and growth paths.

Qualifications
- Seasoned Leader: 10+ years in professional services or consulting, with 5+ years in team leadership roles. Experience with martech and AI software vendors is strongly preferred.
- GenAI & Platform Expertise: Understanding and experience with Adobe Firefly, Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Creative Cloud, GenStudio for Performance Marketing, Custom Models, third‑party AI models, and Cloud platform technologies.
- Practitioner Experience: Adept at translating customers' business and technical requirements into solutions and effectively positioning solution value. Proven ability to understand customer goals and align them with high‑impact features and capabilities of Adobe solutions.
- Customer‑Centricity: Always prioritising the customer and their needs and expectations first in everything you do. You are outstanding at crafting and encouraging a culture of customer‑centricity among your team and your extended ecosystem.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communicator who simplifies complex AI concepts for C‑suite customers and influences strategic decisions.
