Position Summary
The primary focus of this position will be to help structure profitable and compliant transactions that address the needs of a diverse set of internal corporate customers, maximise Adobe\’s revenue, and increase the effectiveness and productivity of the EMEA Digital Experience sales force. This role will act in a fiduciary capacity in managing first line approvals for the deal approval process, including deal structuring and accelerating deal closures. This will be accomplished by meeting with your sales teams to identify Customers\’ critical business issues and assist in structuring transaction that meet both Adobe\’s requirements and the Customer\’s needs.
This role is a management role located in Adobe UK region – London or Reading, covering UK, Ireland, Middle East & Africa region.
Responsibilities
Lead a Deal Desk team across Digital Experience business within region and remotelyBuild business partnerships with regional VP Sales and Sales Leaders, attending business reviews and revenue forecasts with frequent interactions across multiple teamsReview and report in-quarter deal status to Sales and FinanceParticipation of global leadership meetings for driving consistency and efficiencies within deal desk functionCollaboration across worldwide organisation with internal and external stakeholder for business processes and policies. Internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Revenue Assurance, Business Units, Pricing, Bookings & Compensation, Order Management, Credit & Treasury and other functionsAssist in the development of global pricing and policy standards across companyEvaluate current processes and offers recommendations for areas of improvementDevelops and distributes data-driven reports on pricing, structuring, and policy trendsManagement of the large and high visibility deals in region for deal structuring, approval process, communication to sales teams and cross-functional partners to articulate deal valueDeal approval authority within a certain set of criteriaPerform to a specified set of metrics and service levelsResponsible for adherence to and compliance with policy and proceduresEnsure that transactions adhere to Adobe\’s internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines
Requirements
Bachelors in Finance/Accounting with proven experienceExperience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations and/or Deal DeskExperience in a multi-national companyAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentHigh capability to build strong working relationships with internal eco-system business ownersExperience in structuring multi-element components (SAAS, subscriptions, licenses, services and support) contractsProficient in software revenue recognition accountingStrong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsExcellent oral/written communication skills, good knowledge of English in business context
