The Opportunity Are you ready to join a world-class team at Adobe in Dublin or London? As a Global Employment Tax Advisor, you'll have the opportunity to impact our global employment tax strategy and compliance. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of excellence to help us navigate the complex regulatory environment and contribute to our ambitious growth.

What you'll Do:

  • Manage all elements of tax compliance to ensure the company meets tax regulations associated with employment tax, such as income tax, payroll tax, and social security tax.
  • Provide expert advice on employment tax matters to cross-functional partners & business, including mentorship on the tax implications of compensation, benefits, travel & expenses, and remote work.
  • Strategically lead global projects with various internal partners and provide comprehensive project reports and documentation.
  • Support employment tax audits, gather and analyse data, and help respond to information requests.
  • Stay apprised of changing tax laws and regulations, proactively addressing any necessary actions, communications, or education.
  • Identify and drive operational improvements and adopt market standard methodologies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Encourage clear communication and cooperation with cross-functional teams and lead all aspects of external tax providers to guarantee a positive experience for Adobe and our employees.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, tax, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in tax compliance, including payroll tax, benefit tax, and equity-related tax issues.
  • Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate well-reasoned judgements in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity to delve beyond the surface of issues.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Mastery in calculations, graphing, tables, and automation to process large quantities of data for analytical projects.
  • Preferred certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACA or FCA (Chartered Accountant), EA (Enrolled Agent).
