From the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night consider the media you consume, the adverts you see, the apps you use, the websites you browse and almost all the shopping you do online throughout the day. Chances are that every single one of those interactions, every single one of those experiences, was touched by an Adobe product!
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Enterprise Architects to lead the development and implementation of our enterprise architecture strategy across the EMEA region. In this key leadership position, the person will be responsible for developing and performing the EA strategy as part of a larger Value Acceleration team. This role will be managing a team who blend technical and business skills to design solutions for Adobe customers, helping brands to fully capitalize on the era of digital transformation, so they can deliver personalized and impactful experiences across all devices and channels for their customers through architecture and aligning that to Adobe\’s solutions. This customer-facing leadership role offers a rich opportunity to lead senior and principal architects and requires a combination of deep technical knowledge, sales expertise, and the ability to manage a high-performing team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
What you will do:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of the enterprise architecture strategy for the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with global EA objectives, developing standard processes, and aligning the team to achieve performance goals
- Vision: Set the long-term vision and strategic roadmap for Enterprise Architecture within EMEA. This includes setting architecture standard, principles and guidelines that align with Adobe’s strategy
- Collaboration: Collaborate with product teams, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure feedback is captured and solutions are continuously enhanced to meet customer needs.
- Customer Engagement: Develop and lead a team that demonstrates a customer-centric approach in designing and delivering solutions that meet customer needs and drive customer satisfaction
- Operational: Maintain operational cadence for reporting and updates that effectively communicates deal status to collaborators on and off the architecture team. Interact directly with individual contributors and leaders in presales, sales, product management, delivery (both Adobe and partner) and engineering
- Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver training and enablement programs to empower the sales team with technical knowledge and effective sales strategies.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of enterprise architects, fostering a collaborative environment, ensuring continuous development, and maintaining high levels of performance.
What you need to succeed
- Proven experience in technical pre-sales / EA roles, with multi-year experience in a leadership role leading all aspects of technical teams
- Experience working across EMEA, understanding regional needs while also seeking global alignment and strong track record of innovative practices
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer decision-making, and how to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
- Strong track record of supporting sales teams to drive revenue through technical expertise, solution selling, and relationship building.
- Significant architecture experience working with one of the following: enterprise architecture, data architecture, or content architecture.
- Experience in leading teams who create and delivering technical presentations, product demos, and tailored solutions.
- Familiarity with Adobe products, especially the Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience platform.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to drive cross-functional teams and lead change in a multifaceted environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner for both technical and non-technical team members
