To work with the production and quality teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations, maintaining high standards, on time delivery while contributing to the continued success of the company through new expansion plans and its future.

Key As Production/Quality Engineer, you will:

  • Ensure smooth running of the shop floor.
  • Liaise with staff, customers and suppliers to resolve technical queries.
  • Oversee quality department and queries.
  • Assist in quality department at busy periods.
  • Assist with quality and compliance communications and ensure actions completed where necessary.
  • Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Machinery if required.
  • Assist with quoting/route cards.
  • Assist with Tooling Requirements.

Location: Gloucester, Easy access from M5.

Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum depending on experience. For the right candidate we are happy to discuss salary expectations.

33 days holiday including bank holidays.

39 hour working week (7.30am – 4.00pm Mon-Thurs, 7.30am – 3.00pm Fri).

Overtime readily available.

Quarterly Team Bonus, Life Insurance, Auto-Enrolment pension, Signing bonus of £2000.

The Candidate Qualifications:

  • Time served apprentice.
  • Useful experience & knowledge working within Sub-con machine shop.
  • Problem solving and innovation.
  • Willingness to help the team achieve good efficiencies.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills at all levels of the business (both internally and externally).
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Work proactively.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing.

Adnet have a small team that work to tight deadlines and offers job variety at a fast pace. Adnet have been trading for 35 years, we have grown substantially in the last 12 months and require new staff to ensure we can support the expanding orderbook going forward.
