About the Role: We require a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to assist in our busy turning section.

Responsibilities

  • A time served machining apprenticeship.
  • Experience on Fanuc (G‑Code) controls to assist in running our turning section while using sliding head, bar‑feeding and chucking lathes.
  • Experience in setting mill/turn machines would be desirable.
  • Experience in programming would be advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Time served apprentice at level 2 or 3, ONC or equivalent.
  • Working within Sub‑con precision machine shop.
  • Problem solving and innovation.
  • Willingness to help the team achieve good efficiencies.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and part of a team.
  • Work proactively.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing.
  • Programming experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Milling would be an advantage.
  • Experience working to ISO9001 standards.
  • Applicant must be from and live in the UK.

Location Gloucester, easy access from M5.

Adnet has been trading for 35 years, and has grown substantially in the last 12 months and requires new staff to ensure we can support the expanding order book going forward.
