We require a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to assist in our busy turning section.
Responsibilities:
- A time served machining apprenticeship.
- Experience on Fanuc (G‑Code) controls to assist in running our turning section while using sliding head, bar‑feeding and chucking lathes.
- Experience in setting mill/turn machines would be desirable.
- Experience in programming would be advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Time served apprentice at level 2 or 3, ONC or equivalent.
- Working within Sub‑con precision machine shop.
- Problem solving and innovation.
- Willingness to help the team achieve good efficiencies.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Work proactively.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing.
- Programming experience would be an advantage.
- Experience in Milling would be an advantage.
- Experience working to ISO9001 standards.
- Applicant must be from and live in the UK.
Location: Gloucester, easy access from M5.
