What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Sous Chef who can provide the highest quality food and work closely with the Head Chef to plan and implement seasonal menu changes and drive business success. The ideal Sous Chef will already have experience in a similar busy kitchen and use their skills to assist in the effective management, motivation, standards, and development of all Kitchen employees. You will deputise in the Head Chef's absence and ensure that the day is planned and organised for the rest of the team. Food is local and fresh, and you will manage food purchasing and stock rotation on a daily basis.
We need a Chef that loves the buzz of a busy kitchen, likes to understand the local's palette and can produce specials and modern classics. You will possess excellent culinary and presentation skills, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to specification and served at the correct quality, portion size and temperature. You will have the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Flexibility is required to cover a variety of shifts per week including bank holidays and weekends.
