I’m working with a large, multi-site consumer business that’s hiring a Payroll Manager to lead their Payroll system. This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused leader who thrives on really having an impact and likes working with autonomy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the full internal payroll cycle, including data validation, calculations and payslip distribution
- Ensuring compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, National Minimum Wage, GDPR and other statutory requirements
- Maintaining accurate payroll records within payroll and HR systems
- Producing reports for HMRC, Gender Pay Gap reporting and monthly HR and finance insights
- Overseeing payroll systems to ensure optimal functionality and regulatory compliance
- Coordinating with HR colleagues on employee benefits including pensions, PMI and family-friendly benefits
- Acting as the main point of contact for payroll queries, communicating clearly and confidently with colleagues and managers
