Our client is a highly successful and growing consumer-facing business with an established franchise network and ambitious plans for continued expansion. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Franchise Operations Manager to support, develop and inspire franchise partners across the Midlands region.

Reporting into the Operations Director, you will act as the key link between the business and its franchise partners, helping them drive sales growth, operational excellence, profitability and customer experience, whilst ensuring brand standards are consistently delivered.

The Role

As Franchise Operations Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of franchised locations, providing hands-on support, coaching and commercial guidance to help franchisees maximise the performance of their businesses. You will be highly visible across your region, spending significant time in the field building relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting franchise partners to deliver exceptional results.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with franchise partners and acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Driving sales, profit and operational performance across your portfolio.
  • Conducting regular business reviews, identifying opportunities and creating action plans to improve performance.
  • Coaching and developing franchisees and their management teams to achieve high levels of engagement and execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with brand standards, operational procedures and customer service expectations.
  • Supporting the implementation of business initiatives, promotions and operational projects.
  • Monitoring key commercial and operational KPIs and providing insight and guidance to improve results.
  • Sharing best practice across the network and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to support franchise growth and business development opportunities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced multi-site operator with a strong track record of delivering results through franchise or similar partnership-based business models. You will bring:

  • Experience operating at Area Manager, Regional Manager, Business Development Manager or Franchise Operations Manager level.
  • A strong background within hospitality, retail or other customer-facing multi-site environments.
  • Experience working with franchisees, business partners or independently operated locations.
  • Proven ability to drive sales, profitability and operational performance across multiple sites.
  • Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret KPIs and translate them into meaningful action plans.
  • A hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing people and helping businesses succeed.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
