About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Estates Manager to oversee the effective management, maintenance, and development of our estate portfolio. This is a key role responsible for ensuring our buildings and sites are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the organisation’s estate portfolio.

• Develop and implement planned and preventative maintenance programmes.

• Liaise with legal, finance and property teams on lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations and surveys.

• Manage budgets, contracts, and relationships with external suppliers and contractors.

• Ensure compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and internal policies.

• Lead and support on estate improvement and capital development projects.

• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to estates staff.

About You

• Proven experience in estates management, ideally within a similar environment.

• Strong knowledge of property maintenance, compliance, and building management.

• Excellent organisational and project management skills.

• Ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee service delivery.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
